Environment overview

Hotel Zamecek is situated in the middle of a forest between the two cities Cesky Krumlov (the early Krumlau) at 20 km distance and Ceske Budejovice
(the early Budweis) at 30 km distance.

It is an area with pristine forests and gentle rolling hills, habitat to deer and wild boars. Squirrels are having a field day in the hotel yard. The trout infested river
Malse runs through our garden.

The nearby Blansky Les is a nature reserve and protected area and is a magnificent for area for walking.
During the wintertime it has also skiing and snow boarding possibilities.

In Ceske Budejovice (the early Budweis) you can visit
the Budweis brewery. The South Bohemian Motorcycle Center is also worth a visit. They own a nice collection Czech Jawa motorcycles and some beautiful old Harley Davidsons.
